3 Nights & CIE Tours Taste Of Ireland
6 Nights plus Pre-Post Hotel Nights

We had a wonderful trip. We really enjoyed both London and Ireland. The Savoy Hotel in London was very special and very well located. CIE tours worked out well allowing us to see a lot of Ireland. And of course the weddings were both wonderful. It is always a pleasure having you book trips for us. They always go very smoothly.

7 Day Alaska Cruise
Seattle/Seattle
Holland America Line
Westerdam
June 18-25, 2016

We are home from a great vacation. Everything went very well, from our flight to the transfer to the Seattle Sheraton. Very nice hotel in a great location, near original Nordstrom at 6th and Pine (the name of their restaurant!) We had fun in Seattle with very little rain. We got to watch game six in a sports bar where there were plenty of Cavs supporters! Saw lots of the city.

Transfers from there to port and port to SEATAC were a breeze. All aspects of our cruise were good to excellent. My favorite places: the dining room, Sitka, and Victoria. Saw glaciers, eagles, bears, whales, sea lions, etc. There was very little rain and high temps were in the low 60s. We were very impressed with Holland America, passed on a few suggestions in a survey.

Our only glitch was coming home from Seattle: Obama had been in town and his power of "solo airspace" delayed our flight to Nashville by over two hours. We caught the connection to Cleveland by the skin of our teeth! They actually waited for us.

One added bonus was the option to select Luggage Direct: for $20 per person we did not see our bags after they left our cabin, until we all arrive in Cleveland. It included printing and delivering our boarding passes to us. Highly recommended!

Thank you for all of your help with this great trip!!

Alaska Cruise
Celebrity’s Solstice
May 27-June 3- 2016

The cruise was delightful. The veranda upgrade was a real treat as we always book inside cabins. The loyalty ambassador also surprised us with a bridge tour and dinner with the captain in a specialty restaurant. Captain Tsasos was very funny and cordial and his demeanor spread across the entire staff. Everyone, without exception was courteous, professional and welcoming. The ship was is very nice condition, but probably needs a little TLC. We were informed that the Solstice goes to dry dock in October for refitting. The itinerary was very nice and it was nice to fly in and out of Seattle. We would wholeheartedly recommend the Solstice and this itinerary.

Thanks for all your help,

Greek Isles Cruise
Athens to Rome

Isle of Capri
Ephesus – Home of Virgin Mary

Hi Arlene -

Air Canada
- I checked with them on May 19 to see if we could use our United Club Passes at the Toronto Airport “Maple Leaf Lounge” – the answer was “yes”. When we tried to use them at the Toronto Airport, we were told that they do not accept them.

- Air Canada (on our 10 hours flight to Athens) did not have any screens on the backs of the seats to watch movies, etc. Instead, they wanted us to rent iPads for $10. We chose not to rent them.

- when we were getting ready to leave Toronto, the plane had to have some maintenance work done (fuel filter problem); fixed it; backed up to the runway; had to go back in to re-fuel; then found another mechanical problem; had to have maintenance fix it; backed up to the runway; had to go back again to re-fuel; then they finally decided to put us on another plane. We were 5 hours late getting started. Luckily, we had 9 hours to get on the ship – so we still had 4 hours to get there.

I don’t think I will want to fly with them again – not a very good first impression.

Everything else went as planned. We did have a few hours delay from Newark to Cleveland – but were in the United Club Lounge, so we didn’t mind it as much.

Santorini – Not a very good guide for our excursion. We did ride the mules down the mountain – probably won’t do that again, but at least we have done that now.

Kusadasi for Ephusus – Great guide – beautiful sites – I’m glad we took this excursion. The last time we were in Kusadasi, we skipped the excursion and went shopping. This was definitely worth seeing – ruins, home of the Virgin Mary; and much more.

Rhodes Island – Good guide – went to the Acropolis as one of the sites – nice excursion.

Crete – will have to go another time – winds were too high – had to stay in Rhodes Island overnight and skip Crete.

Naples – I’ve been there three times and love it each time. It was surprising to see a new Snack Shop in part of the ruins!

Rome – we loved it – spent 2 days walking around checking out the “must-see” spots: St. Peter’s; Colosseum; Spanish Steps; Trevi Fountain; Hard Rock Café; Piazza Navona; and more.

We were pretty tired by the time we got home – but we had a wonderful vacation.........and will look forward to the next one!

Thanks for all of your help in getting this together!

P.S. Cathy only had a little hair left – around her face – by the time we went on the cruise. She made her scarves/turbans look like a fashion statement! Some people even asked her where they could get one.

Hi Arlene:
I just wanted to let you know that the hotels you booked for us in Spain were wonderful. They were all really nice and very well located. The one in Cordova was one of the nicest and most unusual hotels I have ever stayed in. It is a remodeled 17th century mansion that is built on top of Roman ruins. The breakfast room has a glass floor that you can see through to see the Roman ruins. And our room was decorated in a really special way. Thanks again.

Arlene, The Norwegian Epic was truly epic! I loved it. What a great ship. I had a great time. Everything worked seamlessly. You did a great job. We really enjoyed the Hampton and the fact that you could go around Miami for free on their tram was a pleasant surprise. The really great thing though was the Studio room on the boat. I could not believe how roomy it was. It had at least a double bed, could have been a queen. NCL provided so much storage, I did not even use it all. The Living Room was a great addition also. So accommodating to the solo traveler. The had light food, home baked cookies daily and the best thing was the gourmet coffee drinks they provided at no charge while the same drinks had a fee attached in the other parts of the ship. Now I am home and have to get used to not having my latte and cappuccino every day!

Just loved it. I would go again even on my own. Would be great for the TWP girls.

Take care and thanks again.

Thanks Arlene, for booking our Princess Cruise. You know I always shop around for the best deal, and you always seem to find it. The mini-suite you found us Caribbean Princess was HUNG and priced much lower than a regular balcony cabin on lesser rated lines. Also, thanks for recommending the cruise insurance. Trip was awesome and your follow thru was outstanding! We can't wait to book our next one. Jim
